For now, I will migrate from Apple Photos library to [removed]
My long-term strategy is to switch to a Family license of Tonfotos, as we have four Macs in different locations, and I’d like to use a NAS.

MartinW Sorry I had to edit your post as we don’t allow advertizing here.

Since we don’t have that many requests for psd support, can you please clarify why it is necessary? PSD’s are project files for your own creations, why you want them as part of your photo library? Please help me underdstand so we can better prioritize this feature. Also, the software you mentioned does not seem to support it either.

Hi Andrey,

My wife and I are photographers, and currently we have about 87.000 photos in our library.
We’d like to store RAW, JPEG, and PSD files as we currently do in our Apple Photos library.

The PSD files are important for us to keep for re-edits, since we want to keep the work already done in Photoshop, e.g., sky replacement, retouching. For processing, we use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. The library is only used as an archive.

The other software I mentioned does support previews of PSD files. I tested it.

MartinW I did some googling and it looks like there are few libraries for psd format we can use to add support. However, in order to even consider this, more research needs to be done. It would also help if you could send few samples for our testing to support@tonfotos.com. Something you don’t mind will be kept by our team for long time.
