Yes, I do see that location works for multiple files now. Thank you!
To your first question, for me, the use case for putting the same title or comment on multiple photos would be if I am going through a folder for the same event like a birthday party or family reunion and I want to add the name or description of that event to all the photos that it pertains to at once.
For tagging multiple faces at once I am going through old family photos and trying to label faces that are in each photo. I think it would be convenient if I could be looking at a group of pictures on the same event or on the folder page and select all of the pictures that had one person in it. I recognize that would mean sometimes telling the program to mark that there’s a person even when it doesn’t readily recognize a face. That said, I think the ability to tag a person in a photo even when the AI doesn’t recognize a face would be very helpful for when there is a face but it doesn’t recognize it.
Maybe the ability to do this exists with tagging, but as a new user I’m just acknowledging that it’s not intuitive to do it that way. When I’m adding faces, comments, locations, titles or anything it would be most convenient if I could add the desired information to multiple files at once and preferably from any screen (folder or event, maybe not necessarily faces view if you aren’t seeing the whole picture).
I appreciate you hearing me out. I have thousands of pictures from decades before I was born from my grandparents that I’m trying to identify a d organize. 😅
