Tonfotos is officially out of beta!
It’s been almost a year since the publication of the first beta of Tonfotos, but it flew by like one day. We have added a large amount of functionality, taken into account a huge number of comments and wishes of users. Received a lot of kind words from the participants of the beta testing.
Now the moment has come when we believe that we have achieved the main goals of the beta program and have enough functionality so that the product can take its rightful place in the market, with its unique advantages. And so we officially release version 1.0
And this is just the beginning!
However, this does not mean that we stop the development of the project. Not at all! This is an important stage of maturation that every serious project must go through, but development does not stop there. We will continue to add new functionality and release beta versions as well. Users can choose in the settings whether they want to use the stable release, or download more recent beta versions that will include new functionality in order to get access to it before others.
Will Tonfotos remain free?
Any project needs funds for active development. There are many different ways to monetize, but we are absolutely against intrusive advertising or using other dubious ways to monetize free products.
Therefore, we are introducing a paid license (more precisely, even two, depending on the number of users). But we also leave the opportunity to use Tonfotos completely free of charge. Not as a trial version, but forever. With a full set of features of the paid version - maps, slideshows, import from your phone, connect to Telegram, deletion of duplicates and so on. The only limitation is the number of people in your library. To add more than 12 people to the library, you need to purchase a license.
