Andrey It looks like XMP metadata was populated with faces with some other program before Tonfotos even did something with it. And format this program used was somewhat resembling format iPhone uses, but was so messed up so Tonfotos had hard time understanding it, namespaces definitions are completely out of place, one namespace gets redifined several times with different values, complete nightmare. And after you used Tonfotos to write face date into metadata, everything went sideways completely since Tonfots was confused with the file structure.
There was definitely bug on side of Tonfotos - it should not get confused by this mess, and it is now fixed. New version will work OK with original (messed up) metadata, as well as corrupted ater Tonfotos modified it. Next time you update faces information in those files, they will be “healed”.
Fix will be avaliable in the next release.
Just of curiosity - do you have any idea what software did this mess in face metadata betore Tonfotos? “Software” field says “Adobe Elements”, but that is not true. Data is writes is always clean and well structured. Something else also manipulated it.
