Andrey Appreciate the response and your interest.
In my use case the only thing that matters is accurate person search results in PhotoPrism. Tonfotos face recognition is significantly better (by several orders) than PhotoPrism. But that fact doesn’t benefit my use case unless I can easily leverage it from PP. (I can’t expose my photo collection to remote users through a web interface with Tonfotos - and even if I could, Tonfotos would have a lot of catching up to do to reach feature parity.)
Being able to leverage the (much) better face recognition provided by Tonfotos from PP is (frankly) the only reason I’d have an interest in using Tonfotos.
If Tonfotos had an option to also update the metadata in each image with names from face recognition, I suspect you would bring serious value to the table for quite a few people (particularly PhotoPrism users).
If you aren’t able to add that functionality directly I may look into putting a Python script together that reads your .ini files (which really aren’t in ini format) and does it with something like ExifTool.
