Hello. New user here. I tried to find the answer in the documentation, but was unsuccessful.

I have an External Drive with most of my images (50+ GB). Yesterday I started to “Import” the images to create a catalog listing of them. It looks as if Tonfotos copies the images to the Desktop of my C: drive. I wasn’t expecting that. I also do not want that to happen because they get loaded/backup to my OneDrive account.

Is there a way to index the images on the external drive without them being copied over to my C: drive?

    AvgUser Sure, there is. When there is popup shown suggesting import, tell it to never suggest for that device. Then go to Library locations in main menu and add a folder on that drive to get indexed.
