Many of the photos in my collection have been taken into the Photo Mechanic program, where captions were added to the pictures. Is there a way in the program to search the caption information that I have on my pictures?
Tom That depends on how exactly Photo Mechanic is adding captions. If it uses proper XMP tags for that, Tonfotos will pick it up and show it. However, currently Tonfotos does not search by Captions text, but it does search by tags.
Thanks for the reply. The caption information I added in Photo Mechanic is visible in the Tonfotos info tab. Maybe in the future, that information could be made searchable, and editable.
Tom Captions are already editable in Tonfotos. Just double click it.
