While the app has a lot of headings under which to put information for each person, some are lacking (e.g. I want to put links to different social media links for one person). The proper approach should be to allow us to customise the header’s ourselves instead of giving us a predetermined lists to choose from.

Necrostruction We have plans to add synchronization of those data with other formats like GEDCOM for example. From that point of view custom fields would not be possible to sync. That is why predefined list in preferrable, but it does not mean we cannot extend it.

Currenltlly you can use comment field for social media links.

I understand people managing photos of their families in the primary use case for this application, but it is not the only one. Not for me. That’s why I thought custom fields will offer the most flexibility to users

I plan to use it semi-professionally for clients. I would require fields such as Address (city, country format), their different SM links. I don’t think these things should all go into the comment box, which I find unstructured and only use as a last resort.
