Andrey Do I understand correct that you tried to assign person before even faces were recognized on those images? Then I belive the behaviour is 100%. How else program was supposed to act?
Yes, I assigned the photos to the same person before faces are recognized and guessed to assign to this person.
I believe in this case, the photo should only link to the person once, not twice, or better said, the two entries should merge into one.
I think the current behavior is because the assigned person id is saved elsewhere than the recognized face’s person id.
Andrey This is possible. You can combine two filters: by folder and by “Not assigned faces”.
Yeah, but the more important part is that, after the bulk select, I would want to bulk assign the faces to a person id, but this is not doable at the moment. The recognized face(s) is shown in the file information panel, but during multi selection, the info panel is gone (which is expected) and I can’t assign faces to person.
I don’t want to do it picture by picture because most of my folders are portrait sessions that are confined to one specific person.
I know there could be the problem of having multiple faces in one picture so auto assign is not possible, but I guess when doing bulk assign, I can select which face to assign, thus making it doable.
