Is it possible to move filter to photos or people view as it is inconvenient to scroll year wise to search a photo, if I don’t remember the year of photo.

    rahul Do I understand right, you doing some filter and you know what person to look for, why don’t you just add this person as a filter to to narrow down the results?

    Again, by “Photos” tab I guess you mean “Folders”. If you happen to know folder where to look, why you also just not add it to the filter?

        Andrey - I mean using search/filter function to search/filter multiple person - this functionality is already in place but the event view make the things complicated as what if I don’t remember the year? Or what if I want to see all the photos of person1 & person2 together? The event view makes it a bit rough as I should know the event time to search such photos or maybe even view can be little more scrollable (e.g., it should be scrollable from start date till end date altogether), currently I can scroll only through a particular year.

            rahul I guess I see where confusion is coming from. You actually can scroll all the way up or down, you are not limited to particular year. And that is why you do not have to know the year, just scroll and find what you need.

            If you see photos from one year only, that probably means that only photos from that year satisfy filter criteria.

                Andrey - It didn’t work in that way, the scrolling doesn’t let me scroll through all the events/years. I have to scroll from the event year/month scroller to see photos. On the right window, it only has limited scroll available. Once I change the year, new photos appears in the right window.

                    rahul I see, you are talking about scrollbar. This scrollbar is dynamic because feed is virtually endless. The same way scroll behaves in the Facebook for example. When you scroll to the bottom and release it, it will renew and you can scroll by dragging again. When scroll with mouse wheel or with keys, there is no scroll interruption like that, it will justs scroll and scroll.

                        Andrey - ohh, that makes sense, maybe I was just being impatient. I will check and update if this doesn’t work this way. Thanks for the response.

                          Andrey - I tried but it scrolls only a year of photos not more than that. I waited for 5 minutes, but it doesn’t work the way you mentioned.

                              rahul Did you try scrolling using other methods (wheel, keys)? Are you shure there are actually more photos to show behind that range? Can you get there using time scale on the left?

                                      rahul Based on your description, there can be some sort of bug with scrolling that appears only under certain conditions. We will be very grateful I you can share how to reproduce it so we can fix it.
