The thing is, processing video is much more resource consuming operation than processing image. When importing, Tonfotos not only reads “creation date” file attribute from the image, but it also parses its metadata, and uses it for deciding what is actually a correct date. However, it does not do that for videos. For videos it only looks for file attribute. In your case it must be that for some reason file attribute “creation date” is incorrect. Probably video was edited on the phone, or for some other reason - it is hard to say.
In any case, when file was completely processed, Tonfotos saw the real creation date from its metadata and you now can see it in file info panel. However, that happened only after file import was finished and file was placed to the file system.
However, you can easily fix that with F6 function. Now, when Tonfotos already knows real date, it will put it into correct folder. Just select your video and do F6.
