Image incorrectly reported as corrupted

Hello everyone
In tonfotos, I have an error message for an image:
« Image is corrupted » (translated from french)

The image is on pCloud drive
Some other images on the same folder have the problem, BUT..

Whether I open the same image directly in my iMac (via Preview) or directly on my iPhone, I have NO problem to see it

There seems to be a bug in tonfotos!

@Topiol I have cheched the images. Images are fine, I can open them wihtout issue on my PC. So this is not about images, I guess the problem is that program just can’t access those files when you try to open it.

I guess this has something to do with the fact that files are on pCloud drive. Can you make an experiment - copy those files on local folder that is inedxed by Tonfotos and check if you can open it there, please?

Indeed, if I look at photos that are on my Mac and that do not come from pCloud, tonfotos has no problem.

On the other hand, if I look at my photos from pCloud, natively on an iMac or a PC or an iPhone, they are also displayed without problems.

It is only with tonfotos that I have this problem.

So if I go to pCloud support, they will tell me that there is no problem with them since the photos are displayed directly on an iMac or a PC or an iPhone without any problems!

So I don’t see how to solve this problem without your help!

This is just the same thumbnail you see in the list of photos, it is cached in the database. It is being used as placeholder while real photo is loading.

Andrey Thank you for logs. As you can clearly see yourself, the issue is with access permisions for those files. Logs are full of messages like this:

Well now there is something you can discuss with pCloud support, I guess. They may explain how to solve this permissions issue, maybe by tweaking some settings.
