Currently, the ‘add location’ feature has a predefined list of supported locations, and most of the time, the location I want to use is not in the list.
Ideally, it should be possible to add locations with various levels of accuracy. For example, I may know the picture was taken in Japan, but not know if it was Tokyo or Osaka. In a case like that, it can be useful to mark it with the location ‘Japan’.
Location searching is very difficult. Ideally, I would like a search that understand the hierarchy of locations. For example, any search for Germany should include results linking to Berlin, and a search for New York should include results linked to Manhattan.
