Selecting Multiple People to Confirm

May I say I am very happy with the app as is, but would like to make a suggestion.

In the information pane would it be possible to show the actual ‘Faces’ identified from multiple pictures like when working in a single picture?
It is just that sometimes, a great many disparate ‘Faces’ will be placed under one ‘Person’ to verify, and sometimes if the list to go through is quite large an incorrect face may be accidentally selected. If all the selected ‘Faces’ as they actually appear in each photo are shown in the information pane it would be simple to quickly scan before confirmation.
Anyway, thanks for a wonderful app, keep up the good work.

As to your suggestion, I have a question. Isn’t it easier to verify those faces right there in the central feed? You can regulate the zoom level, and in general they are much larger than they would normally appear in the information pane. Can you please clairfy why you think that would be more convenient than just verifying it right there on the spot?

Hi,
The lesser case is when checking a single person.
I will select the first and shift-select the last to highlight them all. I will then scroll thru and if I spot any that don’t belong I use CTRL-select to remove them. This works well, and for the most part wouldn’t be impacted by having the faces also in the information section.
The case that I think would benefit is when Tonfotos groups lots of different people under one person, in this instance going through and selecting 1 individual from the mass I find occasionally I will select and incorrect face by mistake and move on.
Now while it is obviously possible to go back over in the main window just to check, you would still be looking for 1 face in a multitude. If it showed all the collected faces in the information section, any that didn’t belong would stand out more, thus being easier to rectify.

This is not a big issue, but having been a Picasa user before its demise, I found this feature quite useful.

In the latter case I think it is just much easier to just confirm with the mouse one by one as you go thru the list. This is less actions that just first select and then confirm.
