Move People selections to another folder

Hey Andrey,

When I search through faces in People, I want to take all the pictures of a specific person and move them into 1 folder from their current folder.

I see I can “Export…”, however, that seems to create new files. I would like the option to move them from their current folders in Windows to 1 specific (or more, etc.) folder(s).

Is there a way to do this? If not, can it be something you add?

Josh right now there is no command for that, but it can be easily added. Thank you for suggestion!

You’re welcome. Not only moving but copying/pasting without exporting/converting would be cool too.

Copy already works, just press Control+C, or select “Photo”->“Copy Files” from main menu.

Funny, I did not realise it at first, but “Move to …” function is already available in People mode. Yes, it is not displayed in context menu, but it is available via main menu of the application. It can also be called with hot key “Control + M”.

I don’t think this is an issue that function is not duplicated in context menu. There will be more and more functions over time, and context menu can contain only most frequent ones, otherwise it will become huge. Other functions can be accessed using main menu.
