Well sorry to hear that, I am a newbie user and love it. Easy TAG changing is my core use and after face recognistion select using CTRL-ALT-F create a advanced filter to find all persons without a tag then adding is in batch, this filter which is a bit akwark but works fine. Maybe could have started with the free version, like me. I payed after a test drive.
I use FOLDERS to navigate to my previous storing method a folder for each vacation or holiday.
I use People to get the foto’s TAGed with my key users
I Use Events for Filtering, first select a People object, then click again on the three striped button and adjust the include/exclude button and then selecting the TAG which I assign to certain persons. The I het a Event list of al photo’s which I forgot to set a TAG in the past.
Finding this out took me a lot of reading, I asked for a keyboard shortcut manual and got the remark it is specified in the menu, but each menu has its own shortcuts, so figuring this out take’s a while and you need to be able to remember. Still a good hint to figure the product out. CTRL-Z is usefull if you accidently validate a person wrongly you get list of the last ownes and can correct if needed, also really powerfull.
Confirming faces in batch, select the same person and press SHFT-Enter, saves a lot of mouse movements.
