Hi, I found that some photo’s where in the Atlantic ocean, investigating the problem it seems that other programs have the correct location a teamparc in france. I this an bug?

Regards, love the product

Mike Thank you for bringing it up. We had in the past rare reports about something like this, so this is probably a bug. The issue is it is really hard to reproduce and in 99.9% it shows correct location. Can you please re-index imges that are displayed at wrong location? Will that help?

    • Mike replied to this.

Andrey sure, will let you know, want an example and screenshot?

Mike I think I have an idea how it looks like, so no screenshot is necessary. It is more important to figure out what is causing it. So let us see if re-index will fix it or not.

No, still wrong…, also checked on my second computer and has the exact same issue.

Mike Ok, if this is also happening on another computer, this is a good sign. That means I wil probably be able to reproduce the issue on my test PC, Can you please do following:

          • Double click on this bubble on the map, you will be taken to filter by location view.
          • Please note if there is just one event or multiple events.
          • If there is mulitple events then go back to map, zoom in and repeat until you will get only one event in filter results (only one group of photos)
          • Select any photo in the results and then remove filter to make sure all photos are shown, not only ones with location.
          • Select all files in the event and copy them to some cloud storage and send a link to support@tonfotos.com so I will be able to experinment with them and find the bug.

Hope that is not too much trouble for you.

Send a example folder as requested.

Andrey Just like in Tags case, these files have broken GPS coordinates in Exif. I will do some workaround to support this particular case.

Andrey Please check you 1.9.11 and let me know if this resolved the issue.

Yes, but i need to re-index the files which are in the wrong place. Thanks!

Mike You are right, they need to be rescanned, sorry I forgot to mention that.
