Other File Types

Thought i would ask as I’m planning of ditching another program that i have been using that i find a pain.

So readying through everything i can on the app and just doing a small amount test first.

But plan to pay for the license to support your work.

I currently have around 182,174 pictures/videos on my machine.

I would like to know can it or will it also be able to list and open:

Is there a filetype list compatibility you have, i am even happy if the “other” filetypes don’t need to natively open in the app but fires up the external app.

gosimon Programm does not support document formats (doc, pdf), nor any audio formats. I don’t think we have up-to-date list of supported formats published anywhere, probably we need to fix that. Basically program supports all popular image formats, pretty much all of RAW formats, and majority of video formats, (but not all video codecs can be played in the view mode, unfortunately).

Hi Andrey,
Maybe consider it if you can, even its its an option under settings to include different file types over time. I have had lots of my relatives pass away over the years and structures like this

Grandma

photos
audio (these include audio mp3s of audio interviews i did)
letters and cards (these have pdfs and images pending on the length of the car)
recipes (hand written images or pdfs of their recipes)
videos

gosimon Thank you. We get request from time to time about support of document files, but not very often. This is the first time I am aware of when someone asked to support audio files. We will have to wait for more requsts for this feature from users, hope you are understand. We prioritise our work based on actual demand from the users.

FYI - Purchased the Family license today and got rid of the other photo management system i was using.

Hopefully others in the future will request PDFs etc

But thought ill let you know, now to wait for the 36hrs for the scanning of my library.

My C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\tonfotos folder is already 760MB i wonder how large it will get.
