cloclo This actually partially explains things. This goes to the how iPhone treats same photo library when exposing it thru USB and API.

Over USB iPhone displays it as separate files with different names and sizes though with same date. They are obviously not duplicates therefore Tonfotos downloads them all. However, TonfotosSync works thru API, not USB, and API shows only one item for each photo even though there are both cropped and non-cropped versions. Just like in Photo App in iPhone. So TonfotosSync is supposed to send only one file of those, original one, not edited one. However, I got the impression it does not send any, correct?

Oui sur les 6 photos originales (en 16/9) seule la première a été importée avec TonFotosSync. Par contre en USB toutes les photos ont été importées 4/3 et 16/9.

j’ai refait la manipulation avec les journaux activés. Ci-joint le journal correspondant. Dans le journal on voit le contrôle complet des index de tous les répertoires photos et aussi la partie de l’importation des photos de l’iphone.

Par contre j’ai un message d’erreur si je veux copier le fichier “tonfotos.log” dans mon message. “Uploading files of this type is not allowed”

I think I see the problem now. For some reason I don’t yet understand, every image file is getting transered with the name FullSizeRender.jpg even though it is clear from metadata that those are different files. That explains why you have this file but no other image files (they just overwrite each other and only one remains).

After some googling it is clear that it is Apple who returns this name to the application of you have been editing your file on the phone. It looks you have edited few of your files and now they all appear to TonfotosSync as FullSizeRender.jpg (even though they appear normally over USB).

This is definitely not good. I will need more time to investigate the issue and will keep you posted.
