Hello, I would like to add this idea/request: that there be an automatic suggestion or autocompletion of relationships:

for example: if A is the brother of B… and the son of C, let it appear in B to accept that he is a brother of A, and perhaps, son of C..

with this we would avoid filling out each person with their relationships by hand

      I, Julian, say that I am the brother of Pablo and Susan.

      With that Initial information: when you press on SUSAN, it should come out: is she Julian’s sister? And so the rest of the logical relationships, if Susan has children, I, JULIAN, should get the approval of NEPHEWS: nephew 1…2..3..
      If we assume that Josep is PABLO’s dad… Suggestion SUSAN and JULIAN about his dad: JOSEP!!

        E.s.e. Ah, now I get it. Actually it already works like that to some extent. When you add parents, you immediatelly get siters and brothers associated too, for example.

        As to nephews, grandparents and so on - application does only link direct relationship, second-tier relationship is just a relationship thru another person, it does not have to be marked explicitly.

          y cuando ponemos HIJA y cargo a mano a MAMA.. deberia salir automaticamente PAPA tambien.. o como sugerencia

                    Was thinking about this today, as i love doing family history research.

                    I wonder if a better way is have a relationship tab on the top.

                    Say if i chose my wife’s mother, i can add in her parents and siblings and children.

                    Then when i choose my wife i can add her husband and child into her profile.

                    That way each person will have their own unique list of photo in the relationship manager.

                    As at the moment its all set for one level if you know what i mean.

                      gosimon Is the point of your suggestion to simplify data entry or to make it more transparent for browsing? As to browsing and visualisation I think there is nothing more natural than good old family tree. We are considering adding something like that in the future.

                        Overall a good old family tree would work perfectly.

                        And the point is making it clear who my parents are and my wife parents etc, since we both will share the photos.

                        But something like a good old family tree will work just as well.

                        también utilizo arboles genealógicos.. varios..
                        lo bueno de las auto relaciones , y sugerencias de relaciones automatizadas, puede darle un plus al algoritmo ( no se como se implementaría) de decir: si estos son grupo primarios. Es probable que estén juntos (creo que ya funciona algo así)
