Serial Number and Authorization disappears

I have been using Tonfotos on three PC’s. with a 5 unit license.

Over the lastr month, the software has “lost” it’s serial number and authorization on a number of occassions.
Twice on one pc and once on an other.

When I reauthorize the softeware the use count is still accurate.

This appeared in al cases when when I restarted the program. I notice that most of the names are blank and simply reinsert the serial number, however I thought I should report oit to you.

MelFish thank you for reporting. Yes, some users already reported that when you forcefully close the application, it might lose the activation. We are working on fixing that.

I lost an activation too, I am commenting just in case this is a generic issue that needs fix otherwise can write to support later.

rb_imager We have good progress with this bug already, we have identified one specific situation that can lead to activation reset. This is already fixed and will be available in the next release. Hope that will solve the problem.

Andrey I updated to version 1.8.0 and still the program doesn’t recognise my license. (asking me to buy again)

rb_imager This is weird situation, in 1.8.0 this bug is fixed, no more losing keys during update, but key gets lost while you are still at 1.7.5, just before update gets installed…

Sorry you had to face that. Please write to support@tonfotos.com mentioning your serial number, and we will fix that for you.

Quozlator just like I answered before to rb_imager, there is no need to worry, just wtite to support@tonfotos.com and don’t forget to mention your serial number in that letter, we will fix it for you.

i have been running into the same problem. the program has crashed multiple times since i purchased it, and then when it comes back up, it asks for the serial again because its been downgraded.
i just upgraded to the latest version, i think it’s 1.8.2 and now its telling me i’ve used the serial in too many computers….i only have the one that i’ve been using it on so far.

i was going to check with you to see if it’s Linux compatible, as i want to set up mu old computer as an home NAS for my photos and videos, but to start, i simply want to index my entire collection on my single computer, but i can’t.

please help!!!!!!
