Hi there!

So by now, I have like 300-400 different people in my app.
A lot of them have very few images though, because I’ve only seen them a couple of times, like distant relatives.
Since those people with few images are of less importance to me, it would be great if I’d be able to sort the left column on the people’s tab by associated image count, instead of always having them sorted by name.

Greetings
Adrian

adrianklein actually, there is alternative aproach which I am thinking of, and this is one of the most requested features actually. This is groups for people. Like folders or tags. So on the first level in the navigation panel there will be groups and you will be able to expand each one to see who is inside. This way you will be able to limit the list of people to ones who you are interested in at the moment. Do you think this approach will solve your problem?

Yeah that sounds like a great idea, too! I didn’t even consider that!
It definitely solves the issue of showing too many people that I’m currently not interested in.

With tags instead of folders, do you think it would be possible to have people show up in multiple groups?

If that change leads to me not wishing to sort people by image count instead of name, I can’t tell you yet though 😅

A bit of a 2nd motivation for image count: I sometimes post a ranking to my friends of whom I have the most images, and that is way easier if i have them ordered somewhere 😀
But I guess that some separate statistics-page would solve that too, without the need for a live-sorting of everyone in the people tab 🤔
