I have just been setting up Tonfotos for my dad. The one thing he was requesting was a simple search function that could search through folder and file names - nothing fancy like AI searching.

Simple search is available since version 1.6. Starting from 1.9, you can make complicate queries such as “Kid 1” and “Kid 2” but not “Kid 3” using Filters: https://community.tonfotos.com/d/309-190-filters-for-searching-photos-using-complex-queries
