I downloaded the free version yesterday and all seemed to be going well with import of photos and videos. Now the program seems to be stuck for the last 12 hours “finishing” at 16 hours to go and it has yet to say ready (lower left corner of screen). Can someone tell me if this is because this is the free version and I have some limit or if I just need to wait it out. Shut down the program and re-start it? I have over 200 gig of photos and videos on this drive spanning about 30 years.

    Steve Ohio short answer is - yes, you just need to wait. It has nothing to do with free version limitations. If you have lots of videos in your archive, that may take a while to index, unfortunately.. Optionally, you can switch off indexing of videos, that will speed it up significantly.

    If you can’t wait right now, you can close program and start it again later, it will continue indexing where it stopped last time.
