Duplicate Person

I recently purchased Tonfotos since it’s facial recognition seemed pretty good. It’s been chugging away at my image collection and doing very well except that it has created two entries in its people list for the same person. The images associated with each person don’t seem to be duplicated but they are in fact of the same person. The same name is in the list twice along with the same email address. How did this happen? And is there a way to merge the two sets of photos?

It is really hard to say from the distance what was the reason for that, but it is pretty easy to fix:

1) Make sure both people have exact same name (just rename one of them). Renaming is available in context menu (right click on the person in the list).
2) Now you can merge them - this option will appear in the same context menu if there is more than one person with exactly the same name.

That should solve the issue.

Andrey Thanks for the quick response. They were already the exact same name, so I just did the merge. I hadn’t seen that option. That fixed it.
