Settingsdialog for "Open with ..." function

I’m still having problems with the „Open with …“ function.
When I right-click on a photo in the Windows Explorer, an extensive menu of photo-relevant applications appears.
Like this:

When I right-click on a photo in Tonfotos, only artifacts from - maybe - previous installation entries appear under „Open with …“ function,

Since you recently explained that Tonfotos reads the entries from the registry and you wouldn’t see any way to create, for example, a settings dialog for the „Open with …“ function, I have this idea to solve the problem for myself:
“If I knew where Tonfotos reads the information from the registry to generate the menu entries, I could enter my photo-relevant program there”.

Of course, the better solution would be a Dialog, where my already installed application can be added to the right mouse menu list.

Gerhard As I explained in other post this part of the Windows is poorly documented to say the least. Actually it is documented, but official documentation from Microsoft is just false. It does not work in real life as they explain. So we in Tonfotos use all places that are documented, then some more that we were able to reverse engineer from Windows Explorer. Nevertheless, the list we show still not 100% same to what Explorer shows, and I have no idea where else to get correct information.

Anyway, if you want to make sure some application is listed by Tonfotos, there is no need to know all the locations Tonfotos is looking at, it is enough to write it into one of most obvious places, such as “Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts” in Current User. There you will find all extensions, and there will be OpenWithList for extension you want. You can see how other programs are registered and do the same. You can google for more practical advices on the registering the app.
