How to back up of the database ?

I wanted to know how to back up the database so as not to lose the face recognition data for all the photos in case the hard drive where the photos are stored fails.
At the moment, I simply make a copy of this hard drive, on which a single folder contains all the photos.
Is there any other data stored elsewhere that I also need to back up so that I can start again from another hard drive?

Stephane You don’t have to backup the database to ensure your facial recognition data is safe. Tonfotos stores this data next to images: https://tonfotos.com/docs/library/setup/#data-files What you definitely need to backup is your photo archive.

Stig I know many users would love to have an app that would do pretty much everything, but that would be crappy app as it would do everything poorly. More practical approach is to have set of apps, each one is best at what it does. Backup is very complicated topic, at least as complicated as photo management, and there is tons of software that does that good already. Understand your view on it..
This it not backup of photos - that I have something else doing (another app).
But the tonfotos .db would be nice to backup and not have to re-read everything again. Mine is 7Gb…
