Unwanted downloads and disappearing Tonfotos

When I opened my Mac computer this afternoon, i found a number of folders on the desktop, Im guessing these were imported by Tonfotos. I also noticed the Tonfotos application was gone and no longer on my computer. Fortunately I had it backed up and was able to reinstall. I’m not sure what happened. I’d appreciated any input to help me prevent this from happening.

Bob42 This sounds pretty strange, and this is not something Tonfotos would usually do. It does not create folders unless you use F6 function or import new files from the folder. And it also does not delete itself. I guess there is a bit more to to it than just Tonfotos.

What are the names those new folders by the way?

There were about 10 folders. They had various date names, some just the year and some the month. I’m new to Tonfotos. Is there anything I could have done to trigger an export of files?

Bob42 There are two functions you can use in Tonfotos to create folders

Move to main archive: https://tonfotos.com/docs/library/move-to-main/
Import (from Mobile or from folder): https://tonfotos.com/docs/library/import-from-smartphone/

Both will create folder structire YEAR/DATE with imported files inside.
