Jens Thank you for detailed report. I think I see what the problem is. As I said earlier, Tonfotos has internal database of cities, but it is far from being complete. When you enter some text in that dialog, text is only used as search query for that database of cities, so you can find one and select it from the list, this way assigning coordinates of that city cetner to that photo.
On you first screenshot you entered a city name that is not present in the database, and as you can see the list of suggestions below is emty. Therefore program does not know what coordinate to assign to a photo. It cannot assign just a city or village name, it should be coordinates. Therefore it does not allow “Fertig” button.
If you want to assign a location that is not in internal database of cities, just copy and paste coordinates from Google Maps instead of entering a name.
