Andrey this is a project of a school. They decided to make a site about their school events (summer camps, excursions, celebrations, and so on), from the past till today.
My task is to organize the photos, find out which picture belongs to what event and create something that can be presented (a website, at the end).
They have some photos in the school but they also collected many more from teachers, students.
The result is thousands of photos taken with many kind of devices, with different naming conventions (from '1.jpg" to “bestexcursion1.jpg” through “DSC12345.jpg”), file dates with absolutely no meaning (does not match with the event date), hundreds of people on them, absolutely unorganized. There is nothing that could indicate about when, who, what event is the photo about, except the faces on it. There are some photos where I can recognize, ok, this is a summer camp in 2018, these are my starting points and I have to collect the faces that are on them, find these faces on other photos and so on (of course one person could participate on more events so it is not very simple).
And of course a summer camp or an excursion takes couple of days, different programs, so one person can be found in normal clothes on the street, swimming in a lake in bikini, wet hair, and so on, it is impossible to find them without face recognition.
So I’m trying to identify people first, create albums for the possible events or where I just found some similarities.
The biggest help would be to identify most of the people and follow the links (with whom the are on the same picture) to collect the participants of the events.
Tonfotos is a big help anyway, I’m just trying to get the most out of it.
