Lost position in Folders view

I have around 5000 photos in a folder. It is very annoyíng that if I go to another view (Albums or People for example) to check something and then go back to Folders, it shows the first photos again and I have to scroll a lot to find where I was before.
Would it be possible to restore the state it was before?

Petya65 Interesting. Just of curiosity, is there any specific reason why you keep so many photos in one folder?

Does it make any difference if I keep them in more folders?

I have these photos unorganized, different dates, different sources, different events and trying to find out the system (what event, when, which people attended).
Some people can be grouped somehow but it is not as simple that I could use any filename or filedate or anything like that.

Is this a hard to implement feature? In my opinion this would be the normal behaviour, just like on the other tabs.

Ah! This is why I would like to have feature implemented to give new names to all the files, so you could put them into different folders, i.e. year - month etc.. Something like this: IMG_0502 - 2011-02-05 - 13-34-40 - 4320×3240
Then you can easily search in your windows explorer and move files depending on year-month etc..
This means less photos in each folder, and easier to browse (my option).

But as Peatya65 is saying, switching back and forth between [Folder/Events/Locations/Albums/People] an remembering where you “left off”, is a useful feature when working with photos.
