I use the excellent Tonfotos program to help me collect and build a database of old photographs of my entire family, generations back. This will enables for family members who are interested in history to search for old pictures and history.
I scan paper copies, slides, etc. I use Tonfotos’ face recognition feature to help me find the names of people, which I can then use to transfer information about who is in the photo to the database.
While working with photos spanning a long period of time, I have realized that the People feature, which shows the face of the person in all the photos in which they appear, creates an interesting perspective with the opportunity to follow/see a person’s “development” over many years.
My question is whether it is possible to export these facial images as separate image files or otherwise present these facial images outside the program.
