We have a rather large number of people identified in our collection, and when going through photos and identifying faces, when none of the suggestions are correct, the options we have are “This is …” or “Enter person name…”. If I click on the former, I get a list of 55 names that runs from “Aaron [last name]” through “Andrea [last name]”. Needless to say, the person I’m looking on is rarely in there, so I always wind up using “Enter person name”. Currently, we’re going through the photos from a recent trip, and all of the faces we’re tagging are from a set of about 15 people.
It would be useful if there were an option to sort the “This is …” list by recency so these people would be near the top. Some alternatives would be to have the top of the “This is …” list be, say, the 20 or so most recent people in alphabetical order or having a separate “Recent faces” list (in either recency or alphabetical order).
