Album tab

I just purchased Tonfotos and am generally very satisfied with its features, especially the very powerful duplicate search.
However, I don’t understand how the “Album” tab works (in the French version): Many unnecessary and redundant albums are created (over 100 in English). How can I quickly delete them and create new ones that are more suited to my photos?

PhilDu13 I guess those are not albums, those are tags. Unlike albums, tags are stored inside file metadata, while in other aspects are totally identical to albums. I can guess that you have used some software in the past that automatically assigned (useless) tags to your photos.

You can delete tag suing the right click menu on it in the list on the left.

Thank you very much for your quick and clear response. I do indeed distinguish between tags and albums, and I thought Tonfotos was automatically creating them.
I found a way to delete them, but since there are so many, it’s tedious to do it one by one.
A function to do it in bulk would be useful.
