I have used earlier Linux to go through all files, and put different kind of EXIF info into the filename.
Instead of having filenames like: img4957.jpg
I like to have filenames like: Date photo taken - filename - pixel - camera.jpg
I like to have filenames like: 2025-10-02 - img4957 - 4320×3240 - Canon 7D.jpg
And option to rename files like this in the system would be nice.
Think of downloading all files from phone, and then been able to sort the files on date, name(for reference) and size or camera.. like after upgrading phones, it would be nice to see and sort files on camera/phone type.
This request might be abit out of scope and I realize that, but i think if more people have opinions on this, it might lead to something good. Something good in a way to store pictures for later, for your kids 🙂
