I have installed Tonfotos successively on multiple Windows and Linux PCs, with and without CUDA. The image library is located in a network folder on a file server. All scan and storage options for this library are turned on in Tonfotos.
After installation and configuration, Tonfotos always begins an hour-long scan of the library and imports previously detected faces. It also detects faces that have not yet been marked, as expected. However, many of the “new” faces are faces that have already been marked. After each installation, additional duplicates are added. I have seen up to three duplicate entries for the same face.
This behaviour makes sharing a library rather inconvenient.
