The program freezes and cannot recover

Tonfotos freezes after I switch to the Event tab (possibly due to too many events?). The more serious problem is that the app will not recover from a re-launch or even re-installation. It will always stay frozen. Please help!

I am using the linux app on ubuntu, btw.

The terminal message is repeating itself:

I figured out the second part of the problem. It turns out that I have to manually delete the folder ~/.config/tonfotos, which will not be purged during uninstallation, to reset the program.
