GlikeG There is some sort of “smart” functionality that would not scan again immediately if you restart program, it will have some delay. The size of delay depends on the size of archive. For larger archives it will be longer.
However, there is more than that. After program finishes scan, it enters monitoring mode. That means it will not scan again until you close it, it will watch for system events about file changes. This works on Windows and MacOS on local drives, and on Windows even for network drives. Unfortunalely, macOS is not that smart as Windows and cannot monitor changes on network drives.
With that said, if you I don’t even see any reason for starting scan manually. Monitoring will take care of all changes without any scanning.
By the way, does program crash too often on you? That is not normal, we should investigate this. If that is the case, can you please make separate thread with all the relevant details?
