Filter with inexact date criteria

It would be very useful to be able to use inexact date criteria when filtering.
For example, to do something like ‘Date<2015’ or ‘2010<Date<2015’

I realize there is a feature to search for an exact date, but normally I don’t know exact dates for what I am looking for.

Wasabe Filters provide you results sorted and groupped by dates. So you can easily jump to the necessary date and find there what you need. Or scroll thru desired time period. I don’t think additional filter by date range will improve that experience a lot.
