Face Recognition

I recently Purchased Tonfotos and imported my existing library consisting of 140,000 photos. I already had tags created for all of the people in the photos, however the face recognition software overwrote or removed several of my tags. I can delete the library and import my photos again but need to know how to turn off the face recognition. Thank you,

ADora Ok, turinng off face recogniton is easy. There is an option in “Library locations”: https://tonfotos.com/docs/library/setup/

However, I am afraid program is not supposed to overwrite your tags, regardless face recogniton is on or off (that I why I changed topic to the “gugs”). Program is not supposed to do anything with the files until you clearly tell it too. Tags are stored in file metadata, so program under no condtions should change those without your comand.

Can you please describe step by step what you have done and what is the effect? We need to get to the bottom of this.
