I’m currently evaluating the free version, and like what I’ve found so far. One question I have is the ability to restrict the ability to import the file type based on file extension. Specifically I would like to NOT import raw files (RW2), only JPG files. It currently imported JPG and RW2 files in my testing. Can the import file type be filtered?

Thanks!
DaveL

DaveL I think there is some terminology confusion. We call “import” something where files are moved/copied in the process, such as importing photos from the smartphone to the main archive. In most cases Tonfotos works with files right where they are, so no import is required. I guess what you mean is the process that we call “indexing”. If that is correct, then yes, you can exclude RAW files such as “RW2” from indexing, there is an option for that: https://tonfotos.com/docs/library/setup/#library-locations

Thank you, Andrey. That was successful. I now find myself trying to avoid indexing PNG, BMP and possibly other file types. Is this also possible?

    Thank you,
    Dave

DaveL As you can see, there is no option for that currently.
