I’m afraind there is no option to change sort order. There were few suggestions to add this feature in the past, like this one, however so far it does not look like this is among top priorities for our users, that is why we were focusing on implementing other features first.

However, you are welcome to join discissions for those suggestions. We monitor popularity of requests and adjust our priorities based on that.

I’m really disappointed. In my opinion, these functions are actually basic functions that simply have to be there. I’ve noticed that a lot of things aren’t fully developed. The facial recognition doesn’t even come close to Picassa. Metadata can’t be changed for videos…etc. Unfortunately, I bought the full version too quickly, and for me it’s all flawed and useless.

otto Sorry to hear that Tonfotos is not completely according to your expectations. We are relative new sofware, actually youngest on the market among the direct competitors, but we are developing very fast and new functions are getting added constantly. We are listeing carefully for users feedback, and most requested features end up in our roadmap. Actually, lots of features were alraedy added this way. However, as you obviously understand, everyone has thier own vision of what is “basic functions”, so it is just impossible to fit everyones expectations.

Actually, I am quite surprised to hear that according to your experience, Tonfotos facial recognition is not even close to Picasa. That actually contradicts to our own testing, and also tons of feedback from other users. Actually, we constatnly hear that people tried everything that is out there, but found that our recognition is the best.

Also, another interesting comment about video metadata. I am not great expert on Picasa, last time I used it was more than decade ago, however, as far as I remember Picasa was not able to edit Video metadata. I am not even sure it was even able to anything from it, such as GPS locations for example. Please correct me if I am wrong. Actually, sorry for my ignorance, but I am not aware about any other current photo management application that would read metadata from videos like Tonfotos does, let alone editing it. If you know any, I would appreciate a hint.

I any case, you defeinitely have your right to be dissatisfied. This is totally OK. You can’t meet expectations of everyone, that is why we offer free version without any time limitations - so users can make educated decision before purchase. However, even in your case, this is not an end of the world, you can always write us directly to support@tonfotos.com mentioning your serial number and request a refund. We will issue it right away. We don’t want your money if you are not happy with our software.
