I updated to iOS 18, and my HEIC images are no longer processed by Tonfotos. No preview and when i try to open them the message ‘Microsoft HEVC extension is required’ message displays. Other apps open the pictures without a problem including the foto’s app from Microsoft. HEIC pictures i make with IOS 17 are still properly processed. So it has something to do wit Tonfotos and IOS18 HEIC files. A little googling learns there are more issues with HEIC and IOS18 for instance: https://github.com/strukturag/libheif/issues/1190
Bertus Interesting, thank you for reporting. It looks the imaging library we use have issues with those files, so no immediate fix is available I guess.
Can you please share some of those files on support@tonfotos.com for me to test?
