When I installed tonfotos 1.9.12 I set library locations to just Photos to deal with my main collection of photos first. Now I want to add other locations but when I click File/Library Locations or type Alt-Shift-L I get the error message shown above. A similar message occurred when I tried this earlier with version 1.9.12.
I looked in C:\Users\nishi\AppData\Local\tonfotos\app-1.9.13\resources\app.webpack\main. It contains index.js (3.05 MB), ffmpeg_worker.js (320 kB), telegram_worker.js (740 kB), and three folders named license, models, and native_modules.
Alt-Shift-L adds a lot to the logfile, but the logfile ends with the following. I truncated the Path and removed some blank lines for brevity. The top portion from GENUS to the blank line is repeated once for each physical drive connected directly to the computer.

My computer has 6 physical drives, several computers on a local network, and the Windows Subsystem for Linux installed. From the log file, the crash dump appears to occur just after the log file processes all of the physical drives. The other items in Explorer that might be seen by tonfotos as other places to look for locations to add to the library are Libraries, Network, Linux and CopyTrans. I disconnected all shared drives from the other computers, so there are no network drives but the other computers are visible in Explorer. The folders for the installed Linux distributions, are exposed as if they were network shares. They appear in Windows 11 Explorer on the left side under “This PC\Linux”, which is below Drives, Libraries, and Network. CopyTrans is an installed program that provides an interface to iPhone/iPad photos through Explorer. From Explorer, it looks like another drive, and is listed above the physical drives..
If I click OK to dismiss the error then I can click either Add location or the + icon to select a folder to add to my library locations. Tonfotos takes me through the process of selecting a folder, but the folder is not added. No further error messages are shown and I can repeatedly attempt to add a folder with the same result. When I close tonfotos, restart it, then try again, I get the same error message.
I restarted Windows 11 (latest version), ran sfc and dism to check that there was no corruption detected in my Windows system, and then ran chkdsk on each of the drives to verify that these were not causing problems.
I only downloaded tonfotos a week ago but promptly bought a license and love it. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or want more information. I am thinking of reinstalling tonfotos but am concerned that I might have to wait a long time for it to rescan. So far my tonfotos library has >80k photos.
