Hello, i have pictures in a library where the option ‘recognise faces’ is disabled from the start of adding the location. Still i see people added tot the ‘People’ tab that are on pictures which reside in that library location.

Bertus This is very odd. Is this on all files on just few of them? Is there anything remarkable about files on which faces were recognized?
So as I understand, faces were not only detected, but people were assigned to those people, correct? Did you do any prior face recognition on this archive, using Tonfotos, Picasa or any other software?
It’s a few of them so far i can see, ones which are suggested, so i get only suggestions from the excluded archive (a few) no ones are added to the person without suggestion. Nothing remarkable some are correctly suggested, others are not. Just as usual. It’s definitely another archive, no early-er recognition. Persons do exist in other collections though.
as far i can see there are no images in that location that have faces identified, just an exception for a few files.
Bertus So that means that in general “do not recognize” setting worked, except for a few files. Interesting. I am really have no idea how that happened. There have to be something special about those files that made them stand our from the rest. You know your archive better, I think you have better chances to guess what happened.
No Idea, it isn’t important to me but i thought i let you know in case more people this behavior it. So thanks for your support again, i’m enjoying your product. It keeps getting better and better.
