The thing is, alumbs in “People” tab only work with faces. AI gets trained on confirmed faces in order to come up with new suggestions. If we will enable adding there something else than people faces, this will only confuse AI and make it unusable.
However, to achive what you want you can use albums from “Albums” tab. There is absolutely no limit to what you include in those albums.
