When the app suggests new faces for a person, a lot of the time it suggests people who are not yet named and also people who have already being named (as other people) but incorrectly identified.

I can delete those who are not yet named easily enough (since I don’t plan on tagging them with names), but let’s say that for one person folder, it contains 10 wrongly idenfified suggestions, and if I then delete all those wrongly suggested faces (by pressing Shift-Delete) are they removed from this person’s suggestion or are they deleted from face recognition altogether?

Right now, what I ended up doing is to correct the 10 wrongly identified suggestions one by one and that is very time consuming. It happens everytime for about 5-6 people with the highest no of photos in the library, whenever new suggestions are provided for those people.

My concern is that if I delete the wrongly suggested faces they will not be suggested again in the correct person’s suggestion.

I don’t know if I’m explaning myself clearly.

leonardoa you are right, if you are deleting by Shift+Delete, these faces will be completely removed from your library and will never be suggested to any other person. If you don’t want that, use Delete instead.

When assigning same name to multiple faces, you can first select them and then assign one name at once to all of them. This way you can avoid assigning name individually to each portrait.

Also, if there is a person in your library that often gets incorrect suggestions, it makes sense to review faces that you already confirmed and look for mistakes there, since that can be the reason behind this behaviour. Incorrectly confirmed faces will mislead the algorithm.
