Is it possible to export information from the database? At the very least, I need information about filenames and people in the image
Benson I’m afraid there is no API for that. However, as an unofficial and unsupported hack you can parse tonfotos.ini files that are stored next to the images, it contains necessary data in JSON format. However, there is no guarantee that the format will not change in the future.
It might work, I’m working on a big project to go through and find people in all my family’s old photos from the 50s-60s, over 10,000 photos. All information about the images will be collected in a database. I’ll give it a try
Benson Can you please share a bit more information about your project? What is is that you are trying to achieve? Organising family photo archives is what Tonfotos does, so any insight about what people do with it could be very helpful.
