Folder icons and sub-folder indentation

Why are some photos shown as a regular folder icon and some folders are shown as small 4 squares?

Also, why is there only 1 level of folder indentation? As you can in the image below, the 2023 folder is indented to show sub-folders under 2023.
But the subfolders under 2023-04 Iceland is not indented and in the same level as the Iceland folder.

Folders with “Folder” icon do no have photos, only subfolders, that is the only difference.

Tonfotos supports any level of folder hierarcy, but visual indentation is limited, otherwise folder names will just not be visible, as they will be offscreen.
