Experimental feature - undo recent actions with faces
By popular demand of users, a new function has been added to the program, which will allow you to fix the error in the case when the wrong button is accidentally pressed when working with the face proposals for people. Previously, if an offer was canceled by mistake, or even a face was removed, it was very difficult to correct this mistake, because in the first place it was not easy to find the very photo that had that face in it.
Now just press Control+Z (or Cmd+Z on macOS) and a dialog will appear showing all the recent actions with faces, and most of these actions can be undone with a single click:
The fact is that working with faces in Tonfotos is not like entering text into Word, since in addition to the edits made by user, many processes occur simultaneously (for example, scanning photos and updating the list of proposals) and their results affect each other, so it is just impossible to implement the Word-like Undo function, because the changes may be in conflict with each other, and it is not always possible to simply return to the previous state, since something has already changed during this time. Therefore, an alternative mechanism for correcting random errors was proposed, which took this form.
This is the first experimental version of this feature so far, for sure it will be further developed based on user feedback to become more convenient. As always, we’d love to hear from you.
